Men's cross country finishes as runner-up at MIAC Championships

SAINT PAUL, Minn.- The St. Olaf men's cross country team had three runners in the top ten at the MIAC Championships Saturday at Como Park as they finished as the runners-up to Hamline.

St. Olaf finished with a score of 54, nine behind Hamline. Four of the Oles' scoring runners were All-MIAC and the fifth raced to an All-MIAC Honorable Mention finish.

First year Grant Wintheiser led the Oles finishing sixth, while Brian Saksa was eighth and Tim Lillehaugen finished 10th. St. Olaf's final two scores came from Patrick Boland (11th) and Josh Wold (19th).

St. Olaf next compete at the Central Region Championships on Nov. 12 in Waverly, Iowa
