NORTHFIELD, Minn.- Second period goals from three different players helped the St. Olaf women's hockey complete a weekend sweep of Hamline by topping the Pipers 3-1 Saturday night at Northfield Ice Arena.

After defeating Hamline 1-0 on Friday night at Warner Coliseum in Saint Paul, the Oles fell behind 1-0 midway through the first period on Saturday. Haley Johnson's power-play goal, her second of the year, put the Pipers ahead at the 11:38 mark. Laura Randall and Corinne Henning assisted Johnson's tally.

After being outshot 12-6 in the first period, the Oles regrouped and held a 12-5 advantage in the second period on their way to scoring three goals. St. Olaf tied the game at a goal apiece six minutes into the second period on Kristen Latta's second goal of the year off an assist by Kira Clunis.

Fifty-six seconds later, Devyn Hotho's first goal of year put St. Olaf ahead. Kira Clunis assisted Hotho's goal, which was the game-winner.

Nicole Stumpf completed the scoring before the second period was over with the Oles third even-strength goal. Stumpf's third of the year was assisted by Alana Patrick.

In the third period, Hamline outshot St. Olaf 12-7 but could not muster a comeback. Oles goalie Ali McKeever made 28 saves in the game to earn the win. Hamline's Nicole Jones suffered the loss despite making 22 saves.
