Gusties use second half surge to top Ole women

ST. PETER, Minn. - Molly Geske scored all of her game-high 17 points in the second half as Gustavus overcame a six-point halftime deficit to defeat St. Olaf 62-48 in a MIAC women's basketball game on Monday night at Gus Young Court.
Geske had 13 points in a 19-3 run to open the second half.
The Oles were led by Mackenzie Wolter's 12 points and Elise Raney, who had 10 points, eight rebounds and three blocks.
St. Olaf led by as many as seven in the first half and had chances to extend the lead, but was plagued by 13 turnovers in the frame and 24 for the game.
The Oles cut the Gustavus advantage to four, at 44-40 with 7:34 to play, but the host Gusties then scored the next five points.
St. Olaf (7-2, 4-2 MIAC) plays host to Concordia College-Moorhead on Wednesday night at 5:45 p.m.
