Women's swimming and diving defeats Hamline, Macalester

NORTHFIELD, Minn. - The St. Olaf women's swimming and diving team defeated Hamline University and Macalester College on Saturday afternoon at Skoglund Center.

St. Olaf won every swimming event, led by Meghan Weiss' three individual wins. Weiss earned victories in the 100 Back (1:01.39), 200 Back (2:14.40) and the 200 IM (2:15.58).

The Oles had three others win two events. Lauren Synder won the 1000 and 500 Free races, Maggie Boling the 100 and 200 Breast and Carolyn Bernhardt the 50 and 100 Free. The team's other wins came from Laura Begin in the 200 Free, Katie Kubat in the 100 Fly and Megan Laedtke in the 200 Fly.
