Ole women fall to Augsburg in third MIAC loss

MINNEAPOLIS - Serenae Levine went 6-for-7 from the field and 3-for-3 from the arc in the second half for a game-best 21 points, as Augsburg picked up a 61-51 MIAC women's basketball win over visiting St. Olaf at Si Melby Hall on Wednesday night.
Brittany Webber had 11 points and nine rebounds to lead the Oles (9-3, 6-3 MIAC), who were a season-worst 4-for-24 from the field in the first half.
Augsburg held a 23-13 lead at the half before opening up a 15-point lead in the first minutes of the second stanza. St. Olaf used an 8-0 run to cut the lead to six -- at 32-26 -- but the Auggies answered with the next eight points.
St. Olaf plays host to the College of Saint Benedict on Saturday at 3 p.m.
