Bohler, Timmerman get runner up finishes at Central Invitational

PELLA, Iowa - Jacob Bohler was second in the 165-pound bracket and Ryan Timmermann second at 141 as St. Olaf competed in the Central College Invitational on Saturday.

Bohler picked up three victories on the way to the final, including a major in the first round and a pin at 1:43 in the quarterfinals. He then won a 4-1 decision over Morningside's Jared Wildeboer in the semifinals before losing by fall, at 6:09, in the title match.

Timmerman cruised through the 141 bracket with four straight pins to reach the finale. He then lost a 9-5 decision to North Iowa Area Community College's Wismit Moinius in the championship.
