Tommies beat Ole women 62-53

ST. PAUL, Minn. - Mackenzie Wolter scored 18 points and added three steals, but Maggie Weiers was a perfect 6-for-6 from the field and the line as her 18 points led St. Thomas to a 62-53 MIAC women's basketball win over St. Olaf on Wednesday night at Shoenecker Arena.

Addy Bates added 14 points off the bench for the Oles (11-4, 8-4 MIAC), who led 32-28 at the half.

UST (14-1, 12-0 MIAC) started the second stanza on a 9-0 run and never trailed thereafter. Taylor Young added 15 points and Anna Smith 12 for the Tommies in the victory.
