Ole women hold off Knights 65-60

NORTHFIELD, Minn. - Mackenzie Wolter had 17 points, seven rebounds, five assists and five steals as visiting St. Olaf outlasted Carleton 65-60 in a MIAC women's basketball game on Saturday at West Gymnasium.

Wolter's three-point play with 54 seconds left gave St. Olaf a four-point advantage. She then went 4-for-5 from the line to seal the victory.

Kirstee Rotty added 13 points and nine rebounds and Nikki Frogner 10 points off the bench for the Oles (12-4, 9-4 MIAC).

Akemi Arzouman had 21 points on 8-for-11 shooting to pace Carleton. Arzouman had 14 points in the second half, going 5-for-7 from the field and 2-for-2 from the arc. Skylar Tsutsui had 13 points and Jenny Ramey 11 and five assists for the Knights (2-14, 1-12 MIAC) in the loss.

St. Olaf led by as many as 13 in the first half, but Carleton closed the gap to six at the break and outscored the Oles 17-2 over a 10-minute span in the second.
