ST. PAUL, Minn. - The St. Olaf women's swimming and diving team picked up numerous victories on the way to a team win at the Meet of Saints at the University of St. Thomas on Saturday.

St. Olaf finished with 756 points and held off a charge from the College of Saint Benedict, which was second in the meet with 732, while host St. Thomas was close behind with 732.

Meghan Weiss led the way for the Oles, winning three individual events and swimming a leg on the team's 400 free relay squad. Weiss won the 100, 200 and 500 free races. Weiss' 53.66 in the 100, her 1:56.05 in the 200 and her 5:11.98 are each pool records in the Anderson Athletic and Recreation Center, which opened last year.

The Oles had one other individual win at the meet, as Carolyn Bernhardt won the 200 backstroke in 2:13.11.

The team's 400 free relay team -- of Laura Begin, Katie Kubat, Sarah Kemp and Weiss -- won at the wall with a 3:40.13, just in front of host UST (3:40.79).
