Women's hockey plays to tie with Auggies

NORTHFIELD, Minn. - St. Olaf and Augsburg College played to a 4-4 MIAC women's hockey tie on Friday night at Northfield Ice Arena in the first of a two-game MIAC series.

Lisa Tuuri scored twice and Kristen Latta had two assists for the Oles.

Augsburg got a goal from Sarah Rajewsky with 34 seconds left in the third period to force the extra session. The Auggies, who trailed 3-0, scored three times in a 6-plus minute stretch spanning the second and third periods. Rachel Hennessy had two of the goals, at 19:56 of the second and 6:11 of the third.

Tuuri's second score regained the lead for St. Olaf, at 4-3 with 11:06 to play.
