Alpine solid showing at Spirit Mountain

DULUTH, Minn. - The St. Olaf men's alpine team came back from Colorado to race in three Slalom FIS races in Duluth this weekend. Max Lund, Nick Stang and Hakon Schonheyder had top 10 finishes.

On Friday, Max Lund led the Oles with a third place finish. He was followed by Hakon Schonheyder (10th) and Florian Weil (15th). On Saturday, Max Lund again paced the Oles finishing fifth. He was followed by teammate Haakon Schonheyder (8th). On Sunday, Nick Stang lead the Oles finishing fifth. He had the fastest second-run time to move from 9th place to 5th overall.
