Alpine wins slalom and giant slalom at USCSA Divisional

DULUTH, Minn. - The St. Olaf men's alpine ski team won both the slalom and giant slalom at this weekend's USCSA Divisional race in Duluth, Minn.

The men swept the podium. Florian Weil won the Giant Slalom, recording his first podium of the year. Haakon Schonheyder continued his winning ways, taking first in both runs of the slalom race.

The Oles qualified for the Regional Championships in Marquette, Mich., which will be held Feb. 18 and 19. The top three teams at the regional championships will qualify for the National Championship, held in Sunday River, Maine in March.
