Oles host Ole Open Qualifier

NORTHFIELD, Minn. - St. Olaf hosted the Ole Open Qualifier on Saturday, the last meet prior to the MIAC Indoor Championships.

John Bennett won the weight throw (16.62) and Ethan Smith was fifth (14.68). Both rank in the top five in the MIAC this season.

Brandon Berger won the triple jump (13.18). Berger's mark is fourth best in the MIAC honor roll.

JB Tut, who also looks to place in the Conference, tied for third in the high jump (1.88).

The Oles compete at the MIAC Indoor Championships next week at Macalester College.
