Larson earns two All-America honors at NCAA Division III Championships

GRINNELL, Iowa - St. Olaf first year Dani Larson earned two All-America honors on Friday afternoon, as she finished eighth in the pentathlon and tied for seventh in the high jump at the NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field Championships.

Larson powered her way into the eighth and final All-America spot in the pentathlon with her second place finish in the 800, the final event, with a 2:26.46. She was also second in the pentathlon's high jump, clearing 1.66 meters.

Later in the day, she cleared 1.65 on her final try in the high jump to finish in a three-way tie for seventh.

Earlier this week, Larson earned the MIAC's performance of the meet and the outstanding field athlete award for her effort at the league's championships.
