Wrestling has three named NWCA Scholar All-America

La CROSSE, Wis. - Three St. Olaf wrestlers -- Andrew Rudd, Jacob Bohler and James Roach -- were named National Wrestling Coaches Association Scholar All-America on Monday.

Rudd holds a 3.61 GPA as a chemistry major, Roach a 3.38 and Bohler a 3.66 as a history and social studies education major.

Wrestlers selected must hold at a 3.2 GPA for a full academic year. Athletically the wrestler must meet one or more of the following guidelines: the wrestlers must have been a national qualifier this season, winning a minimum of half of their wins, placed at a national qualifying tournament or must have a minimum .670 win/loss record in 50 percent of his teams matches.
