Carlson breaks school record, as solid second day gives Oles fifth place at Wash U Invitational

ST. LOUIS, Mo. - First year Maxine Carlson fired a school-record 73 on Sunday as the St. Olaf women's golf team posted a team score of 311 to finish in a tie for fifth place at the Washington University Invitational on Sunday.
Carlson (78-73-151) finished ninth in the 104-player event. Carlson's 73 was two better than any other round in school history.
Molly Erickson was the team's next best finisher, shooting a 75 on Sunday to finish in a tie for 23rd with a two-day 160.
