Carlson sets meet scoring record as she, Oles win Carleton Invitational

NORTHFIELD, Minn. - First year Maxine Carlson fired a meet record 74 to win the individual crown to lead the St. Olaf women's golf team to a team title at the Carleton Invitational on Sunday at Northfield Golf Club.

The Oles' Molly Erickson was a stroke behind in second place, while Rachel Wieme (80, +8) was sixth and Elizabeth Geisendorfer-Lindgren (82, +10) was ninth.

St. Olaf held off second place Gustavus by strokes.
