Erickson in contention as women's golf holds ninth place after third day at NCAA's

ANGOLA, Ind. - St. Olaf junior Molly Erickson fired a 75 on Thursday in the third round of the NCAA Division III Women's Golf Championships to get within two shots of the individual lead and help the Oles hold the ninth place spot as a team with one round to play.
Erickson started on the back and went out in 39, before making birdies on the third and fifth holes on the way to a even-par 36 on the front to finish the day at three-over par.
The Oles' Vanessa Kleckner had her best day of the championships with a five-over par 77. Kleckner had two birdies in the round to go with nine pars and seven bogies.
