Women's track and field is seventh at MIAC's

MOORHEAD, Minn. - The St. Olaf women's track and field team placed seventh at the MIAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships on Saturday evening.
The Oles had a 2-5 finish in the 1,500, as Maren Westby was second in a time of 4:35.88, .26 seconds off the winning time. Andrea Dittman was fifth in the race in a time of 4:46.50.
In the 5,000, St. Olaf junior Emma Lee was third with a mark of 18:01.97.
St. Olaf first year Dani Larson had two scoring performances. She was second in the high jump and fifth in the 100 meter hurdles (15.41). Teammate Elise Raney was the team's only other scorer in field events on Saturday, finishing two spots back of Larson in the high jump in fourth.
In the 400 meter hurdles, St. Olaf junior Ellen Hawley was fourth at 1:04.37.
The Oles had a pair of scorers in the 3,000 steeplechase, as Paige Schember was sixth (11:56.52) and Meggie Exner eighth (12:10.62).
The Oles' Jamie Mosel was seventh in the 800.
