Ole women open fall golf season with third place showing

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. - The No. 11 St. Olaf women's golf team was third of 18 teams at the UW-Eau Claire Georgianni Memorial Invite, which wrapped up on Sunday afternoon at Mill Run Golf Course.

The Oles' Maxine Carlson and Molly Erickson each finished with two-day 164's, good for 10th place in the 18-team event. Carlson made three birdies in the final round while Erickson had two.

St. Olaf plays at the Wartburg Fall Invitational on Saturday and Sunday in Waverly, Iowa.
