Oles move to 2-0 in league play with five-set win over Gusties

NORTHFIELD, Minn. - Kelly Heissel's 13 kills helped St. Olaf outlast Gustavus Adolphus College in five sets in a MIAC volleyball match on Wednesday night at Skoglund Center.

Maggie Prunty and Katie Wolfram added 12 kills each for the Oles (5-9, 2-0 MIAC), who scored the final three points of the match to take home their second league win. Prunty hit .440 in the match, going 12-for-25 with only one error.

Gustavus was led by Becca Woodstra, who had a match-best 15 kills. Kendra Weege had 55 set assists and 11 digs.

Kirstee Rotty had 32 digs for St. Olaf, while Ari Carlson had 11 kills and was in on seven blocks.
