ST. PAUL, Minn. - St. Olaf's Jorden Johnson was named the MIAC women's cross country athlete of the week on Monday, after the sophomore finished second at the Tori Neubauer Invitational on Saturday.

The honor is the second this fall for Johnson, who completed a rainy and muddy Maple Grove Golf Course track on Saturday in 21:54.3. The runner-up finish helped St. Olaf to fourth place in the 26-team field.

The 12th-ranked Oles are off until the MIAC Championships on Oct. 27. St. Olaf was second in 2011 and has won nine conference titles in school history (1993, 1994, 1995, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2010).
