Volleyball gets win at Carleton to close regular season

NORTHFIELD, Minn. - Visiting St. Olaf swept Carleton College 25-23, 25-18, 25-22 in a MIAC volleyball match on Saturday on the heels of an 11-kill performance by Melissa Burch, as the two playoff-bound teams finished the regular season.

Katie Wolfram added 10 kills and Maggie Prunty went 5-for-9 attacking as the Oles (11-20) finished 7-4 in league play to set up a home game in the first round of the MIAC Playoffs, which begin on Tuesday.

St. Olaf finished in a third place tie in the MIAC and will be the fourth seed in the playoffs, which begin on Tuesday. The Oles will play host to either Carleton or Bethel.
