Ole women score three goals to defeat Bethel 3-1

BLAINE, Minn. - St. Olaf scored twice in the third period put Bethel away for a final score of 3-1 in a non-conference women's hockey game on Friday night.

Lauren Bazzachini scored late in the second on an assist from Margot Fleming to give St. Olaf a 1-0 lead.

Kira Clunis scored early in the third to make the score 2-0. After Lendsay Burman scored Bethel's lone goal midway through the period, Fleming scored an insurance goal on an empty net to make the final score 3-1.

St. Olaf will be in action again on Saturday afternoon against the College of St. Scholastica.
