Ole women give up three late goals in loss to Concordia 3-2

NORTHFIELD, Minn. - St. Olaf took a 2-0 lead into the third period, but it wasn't enough as Concordia scored three goals to come out with a 3-2 victory in a women's hockey game on Friday night.
Kira Clunis started the scoring off early in the first goal on an assist from Margot Fleming to give the Oles a 1-0 lead.
Nicole Stumpf scored later in the first to give St. Olaf a 2-0 lead. Katie Moeller and Devyn Hotho assisted on the goal.
After neither team was able to score in the second, Breann Julius scored the first goal for the Cobbers, making the score 2-1. Brittany Oliver netted another goal for Concordia later in the third to tie the game. Later in the game, Madison Gendreau scored to give the Cobbers the last goal of the game, making the final score 3-2.
St. Olaf goaltender Ali McKeever finished the game with 32 saves.
The Ole women will be in action again on Saturday night against Concordia.
