Ole men blanked by Williams

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. - Williams College defeated St. Olaf 4-0 in a men's hockey game on Friday night at Lansing Chapman Rink.

Williams scored at least once in each period and Ephs' goaltender Sean Dougherty made 28 saves to get the shutout victory. St. Olaf netminder Steve Papciak also had 28 saves in the loss.

Neither team was able to capitalize on three power play opportunities. The Oles had an extra skater for the final 4:32 after Williams' Matt Doyle was whistled for a check-from-behind game misconduct.

Evan Dugdale had a goal and an assist for the Ephs. He tallied the game's first goal and assisted on Taylor Carmola's goal in the second period. Greg Johnson and Peter Mistretta also had goals for Williams.
