Wainman is a third team D3football.com All-Region selection

MINNEAPOLIS - St. Olaf first year punter/kicker Lucas Wainman was named to the D3football.com All-West Region third team on Tuesday.

Wainman, one of 11 MIAC defensive players honored on the region's three teams, averaged 40.2 yards/punt on 48 punts. He pinned opponents inside the 20-yardline 16 times and induced eight fair catches.

St. Olaf went 7-3 in 2012, as the Oles completed their ninth straight season at or above .500.
