Kuck's four-point play in final second lifts Oles over Pipers

ST. PAUL, Minn. - Nathan Kuck executed a four-point play with 0.2 seconds left in regulation as St. Olaf overcame a six-point deficit in the final two minutes as the visiting Oles defeated Hamline 74-73 on Wednesday night at Hutton Arena.

St. Olaf (5-7, 4-3 MIAC) trailed by as many as 11 in the second half and by six with 1:18 left. Connor Gunderson then scored six points on the Oles' next three possessions to cut the lead to one. The Pipers' Dior Ford, who had a game-best 26 points, then hit two free throws to give Hamline a three-point lead with a few seconds left to set up Kuck's heroics.

Kuck finished with 14 points, while Gunderson had a team-high 19 points on 7-of-13 shooting. Josh Pratt added 16 points and Sterling Nielsen six and eight assists.

Hamline's Victor Easter had a double-double, collecting 10 points and 10 assists.
