St. Olaf gets men's hockey sweep with 6-4 win at BU

BLAINE, Minn. - St. Olaf completed a two-game MIAC sweep with a 6-4 men's hockey victory over host Bethel University on Saturday night.
St. Olaf (7-8-2, 6-2-0 MIAC) overcame a 3-0 first period deficit with four unanswered goals in the second. Jeff Harris scored twice and Andrew Anderson had a goal and two assists as the Oles held off a late BU rally.
Trailing 6-4 with an extra skater, Bethel pulled within one on a Mitch Hughes goal with 12 seconds left. St. Olaf controlled the ensuing face-off and Harris scored the empty-net goal to secure the win.
Joel Lundstrom, Mark Rath and Ross Trousdale also scored for the Oles who were outshot by the Royals 29-27.
Hughes added two assists for Bethel.
St. Olaf plays a home-and-home with St. Thomas next weekend.
