Ole skiers compete at USSA SuperTour

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. - Emma Lee led the St. Olaf women's nordic ski team with a 46th place finish this weekend at the USSA SuperTour in Wirth Park. Twelve Oles competed in the event out of a field of 171.

Lee finished with a time of 13:53.1 in the 5K event and led all the Ole skiers. Also placing in the top half of the competition were Nora Gilbertson with a time of 14:25.2(71st), barely edging out teammate Elise Sulser (73rd) who finished with a time of 14:28.2.

Nora Gilbertson shined in the 10K event, placing 13th out of a field of 70 with a time 31:10.0. Lee (43rd), Sulser (46th), and Mueller (60th), also competed in the 10K.

The Ole women compete next Saturday at the CCSA Qualifying Race at Giant's Ridge, Minn.
