NORTHFIELD, Minn. - St. Thomas defeated St. Olaf 5-2 in a MIAC women's hockey game on Sunday afternoon to finish a two-game sweep of the Oles.

Courtney Umland scored twice for the Tommies (8-5-1, 7-3-0 MIAC), while Devyn Hotho and Katie Moeller scored for St. Olaf (8-7-2, 4-5-1 MIAC).

Moeller's first period goal was the game's first. After UST evened the score on a Maria Bothwell score, Christina Rozeske gave the Tommies the lead on a short-handed goal at 10:02 of the second. St. Olaf tied the game 1:26 later on Hotho's tally, but Umland then scored twice in a row to give UST a 4-2 lead.
