Harris scores twice as Oles win fifth straight

NORTHFIELD, Minn. - Jeff Harris scored twice as St. Olaf used three second period goals to defeat Augsburg College 4-1 in a MIAC men's hockey game on Friday night at Northfield Ice Arena.

Harris got the game's first goal and the game-winner in the second, as he broke a 1-1 tie at the 4:35 mark on with his power-play goal on assists from brother Kevin and Dan Cecka. The duo also assisted on Jeff's first period goal.

Ross Trousdale and David Rath also scored second period goals for the Oles, who extended their winning streak to five with the victory.

Augsburg held a 36-26 advantage in shots, but Henrik Wood made 35 saves to earn his eighth win (8-3-1) of the year.

The Auggies' Chris Student scored late in the first period to tie the game at 1-1.

The teams meet in Minneapolis tomorrow in the series finale.
