Gusties get 4-1 win over Ole men

ST. PETER, Minn. - Gustavus scored four unanswered in a 4-1 MIAC men's hockey victory over visiting St. Olaf on Friday night.
St. Olaf took the lead on a David Rath goal at 5:47 of the first, on assists from Nick Marsh and Mark Rath. The Gusties tied the game later in the period on Tyler Lapic's power play goal.
Jack Walsh, Andy Pearson and Adam Smyth also scored for Gusties. Walsh's game-winning goal came at 4:05 of the second period.
Gustavus held a 39-28 advantage in shots.
The teams meet at Northfield Ice Arena in the series and regular season finale tomorrow night. The top five teams in the MIAC are all separated by one point. St. Thomas and Saint John's lead with 19 points while St. Olaf, Gustavus and Concordia are one back with 18.
