NORTHFIELD, Minn. - Gustavus Adolphus College posted a 2-0 MIAC men's hockey win over St. Olaf on Saturday night to complete a two-game series sweep and set up a rematch between the schools in the first round of the MIAC playoffs next weekend.

St. Olaf, the five seed in the upcoming postseason, will play at the fourth-seeded Gusties on Friday night in the play-in round of the five-team tournament.

Jack Walsh and Darren Lapic scored for the Gusties, while goaltender Tyler Venne had 34 saves to get the victory in net.

St. Olaf will be making its fourth playoff appearance in the last five seasons. The Oles reached the MIAC title game last season, where they lost a 4-2 game at Gustavus.
