Saska breaks own record at Snowshoe Open

MINNEAPOLIS - Brian Saksa won the mile and set the Snowshoe Open record on Friday at the University of Minnesota.
Saksa won the event for the second year in a row with a time of 4:09.64, posting the top time in the MIAC and second best for Division III Indoor Track and Field. Saksa finished less than a second ahead of Minnesota runner Marcus Paulson.
Time Lillehaugen gained the first spot in the MIAC in the 3000-meter run finishing third at the Snowshoe with a time of 8:36.15. Teammate Phillip Meyer came in eighth at 8:40.59.
James McFarlin was 14th in the 400m dash at 51.67.
St. Olaf hosts the Ole Open Qualifier this Friday.
