Ole men take top places in the 3,000

NORTHFIELD, Minn. - The St. Olaf men's track and field team took the top three spots in the 3000-meter race at the Tostrud Classic this Saturday.
Grant Wintheiser won the event in 8:40.85 followed closely by teammates Paul Escher (8:43.92) and John Christian (8:46.37).
Reggie Woods won the 60m dash with a time of 7.02, the second best time in the MIAC.
After competing in the 3000-meter run on Friday at the Snowshoe Open, Tim Lillehaugen returned to finish fourth in the 1000-meter.
Aaron Dunphy was second in the 60m hurdles with 8.73. Ian Nystrom was runner-up in the mile with a time of 4:35.61 and Kevin Skrip ran 1:23.59 to finish second in the 600m dash.
St. Olaf hosts the Ole Open Qualifier this Friday.
