Women's track hosts Ole Qualifier in final tuneup for MIAC's

NORTHFIELD, Minn. - Sophie Pietrick's win in the 3,000-meter run paced St. Olaf at the Ole Qualifer on Friday night at the Tostrud Center. Pietrick finished in 10:39.68.

The Oles' Rachel Dean added a fifth (10:57.84) place run in the 3,000.

Britta Olson was fifth in the 60.

Emily Stets finished fourth in the four-heat 200-meter timed final in 27:18.

Dani Larson had a pair of fourth place runs. She finished fourth in the 400-meter in 1:00.54 and the same in the 60-meter hurdles at 9.57. Larson also competed in the long jump, where she was sixth.

Moriah Novacinski was fourth (1:40.90) and Robin Stramp fifth (1:41.55) in the 600.

Stets, Shaina Rud, Dani Larson and Moriah Novacinski teamed to finish second in the 4x400 relay at 4:06.33.

The Oles had a pair of top-five finishes in the 1,000, as Andi Gomoll was third (3:05.88) and Amada Leone fifth (3:08.63).

St. Olaf was paced by Meggie Exner in the mile, as she was fourth (5:22.18). Morghen Phillipi finished sixth in the event at 5:28.63.

In field events, Emma Fulton was fourth in the pole vault and Elise Raney fourth in the high jump. Kathy Poter added a fifth place finish in the weight throw.

St. Olaf will host next week's MIAC Indoor Track and Field Championships at the Tostrud Center, with the first events on Thursday.
