Ole men host Qualifier

NORTHFIELD, Minn. - Reggie Woods won the 60-meter dash and the Oles took the top four spots in the mile as the St. Olaf men's track and field team hosted the Ole Qualifier on Friday at the Tostrud Center.

Woods won the final in 7.06 after posting a 6.97 in prelims.

The Oles' Tim Lillehaugen won the mile in 4:20.53, with three teammates closely behind. Paul Escher was second (4:21.72), Calvin Lehn third (4:22.48) and John Christian fourth (4:22.79).

Chris Bowman picked up a fifth place finish in the 1,000 while Chris Massey was fourth in the 3,000.

Aaron Dunphy finished second in the 60-meter hurdles.

The Oles were paced in the field events by Ethan Lunning's second place effort in the shot put (15.43m).

St. Olaf will host the MIAC Indoor Track and Field Championships this weekend at the Tostrud Center.
