Women's alpine finishes third in slalom to finish third at USCSA's

SUN VALLEY, Idaho - The St. Olaf women's alpine ski team finished third in Thursday's slalom to finish third in the combined team standings at the United States Collegiate Ski and Snowboard Championships.
Katie Ulvestad was fourth overall to lead the Oles. Madison McLachlin was 16th and McKenna McNabb 17th as the Oles had five skiers in the top 20. Nathalie Kenny finished 19th and Laura Post 20th for St. Olaf.
St. Olaf finished with multiple USCSA All-Americans after the competition, including Katie Ulvestad (1st Team Slalom, 2nd Team GS and Overall), McKenna McNabb (2nd Team GS and Overall), and Madison McLachlan (2nd Team Overall).
The third place team finish is believed to be the best in program history for the St. Olaf women's team at the USCSA championships.
