Oles fall in seventh to Loras, beat UW-River Falls 2-1

CLERMONT, Fla. - The St. Olaf softball team lost a 11-10 game to Loras College before defeating UW-River Falls 2-1 on Monday afternoon.
Loras 11, St. Olaf 10
Loras scored a walk-off win with single runs in the sixth and seventh innings after St. Olaf had rallied to take a 10-9 lead.
St. Olaf pounded 16 his in the loss, led by three-hit efforts from Maggie Scholer and Jess Wilson. Scholer doubled twice and four other Oles had two hits in the loss.

Danielle Collins scattered eight hits in a complete game win, as St. Olaf scored twice in the sixth inning to defeat the Falcons 2-1.
St. Olaf had only two hits, singles from Julie Fergus and Haley Schreier in the sixth. But the Oles capitalized on a walk, wild pitch and Scholer's sacrifice fly in the inning to get the lead.
