CLERMONT, Fla. - The St. Olaf softball team lost twice on Wednesday, dropping an 11-2 game to Fontbonne before an 8-0 decision to UW-Whitewater.

Jessica Wilson and Becca Walz had three hits each for St. Olaf, but Fontbonne put together three multi-run innings to defeat St. Olaf in six innings.

The Glixman sisters -- Cassandra and Danielle -- went a combined 5-for-8 with six RBIs for Fontbonne (9-8).

The Warhawks (10-0) had 11 hits and limited the Oles to four baserunners, on two hits and two walks, in the five-inning run-rule game.

Amanda Mertes went 3-for-3 and Morgan Kirsh 2-for-3 with a homer for Whitewater.

Wilson and Natalie Mironov had the two hits for St. Olaf.

St. Olaf plays twice on Friday to conclude its 10-game trip in Florida. The Oles are scheduled to open MIAC play on Tuesday at Gustavus Adolphus College.
