Dzurak, Watson pitch Oles to sweep of Carroll

AUBURNDALE, Fla. - Anders Dzurak and Alex Lampert tossed complete games on each end of a 6-1 and 7-2 St. Olaf baseball sweep of Carroll University on Monday afternoon at Lake Myrtle Park.

The sweep capped a three-win day, as St. Olaf completed a suspended game with Concordia University-Wisconsin with a 10-6 victory in the morning.

Game One: St. Olaf 6, Carroll 1
Dzurak struck out seven and walked one while scattering five hits in the Oles' 6-1 win.

Chris Paradise was 3-for-3 and Nick Kulla 2-for-3 for St. Olaf, which struck for two in the third and four in the fifth. St. Olaf had three straight hits in the four-run fifth.

Game Two: St. Olaf 7, Carroll 2
Lampert had a career-best 11 strikeouts against one walk as the Oles jumped to a 6-1 lead in the second inning and cruised to the win.

Jake Schmiesing was 3-for-4 as seven St. Olaf hitters had at least one hit.

The Oles took advantage of two Carroll errors in a five-run second inning rally.
