Bohler, Roach earn NWCA All-Academic honor

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - Two St. Olaf wrestlers, senior Jacob Bohler and junior James Roach, earned National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) Division III All-Academic honors.

Wrestlers must have placed in the top six at their respective regional meet and kept a grade point average of 3.2 or higher. Individuals were also eligible if they had a winning percentage of over 67 percent, but did not place in the top-six at the regional meet.

Bohler went 20-6 in his final season, all at 157. He reached the semifinal round of the NCAA regional, before losing two of his next three. He was an All-America honoree in 2012 after finishing 7th at the NCAA's.

Roach was 30-13. He reached the NCAA's for the second straight season with his second place finish at the regional. He went 1-2 at the NCAA Championships.
