ST. PAUL, Minn. - St. Olaf senior Molly Erickson was named the MIAC's golfer of the week on Tuesday after she picked up her fourth individual win of 2012-13 this weekend at the Wartburg Spring Invitational.

She carding a 3-over-par 75 to equal Wartburg's Samantha Heinen for medalist honors. Erickson's score paced the Oles, who won the team title with a team score of 312, beating the host school by three strokes to finish first among the 10-team field.

Erickson leads all MIAC golfers with a stroke average of 78.4. Her win Saturday was her fourth of the season, including the individual MIAC championship in October.

The Oles and Erickson have two more tune-ups on their schedule to complete the regular season and prepare for the 2013 NCAA Division III Golf Championships, May 14-17 in Destin, Fla., for which St. Olaf has already qualified thanks to its MIAC title. The Oles will venture across town to compete in the Carleton Invitational in Northfield, Minn., on April 27-28 and travel to Eau Claire, Wis., for the Blugold Spring Invitational May 4-5 to conclude the 2012-13 regular season.
