Brandt, Larson win at Janice Rider Invitational

ST. PAUL, Minn. - Allison Brandt won the 10000 meter run and Dani Larson took first in the 400 meter hurdles on Saturday as the St. Olaf Women's Track & Field team competed at Macalester College's Janice Rider Invitational in St. Paul.

Brandt (39:40.51) was the only runner at the meet to finish the 10000.

Larson (1:03.02) finished over 2.5 seconds ahead of the next runner in the 400 hurdles. Ellen Hawley took third with a time of 1:05.83.

Larson also placed third in the long jump (5.23 meters).

In the 4x800 meter relay, the Oles took third with a time of 10:24.04.

St. Olaf's fifth place finishers were Megan Holmes in the 1500 (4:52.18) and Serina Robinson in the 5000 (19:59.39).
