Larson takes second at MIAC Heptathlon

COLLEGEVILLE, Minn. - Dani Larson's 4524 total points earned her second place at the MIAC Heptathlon on Friday at St. John's University in Collegeville.

Larson's 4524-point performance moves her past Becky Peterson (4486 points in 2004) into second place in St. Olaf's all-time record book.

The score was driven by Larson's first place finishes in the high jump (1.64 meters), 200 meter dash (25.85), and 800 meter run (2:18.32). No other competitor finished with more wins.

Anna Govig (3934 points) and Zoe Hansen (3718) took firth and seventh places for the Oles, respectively. Govig tied Larson for first place in the high jump with a height of 1.64 meters.
