Lunning, Meyer lead Oles at first day of MIACs

ST. PAUL, Minn. - The St. Olaf Men's Track & Field team had three second place finishers during the first day of action at the MIAC Men's Track & Field Championships on Friday at the University of St. Thomas.

In the 10k, Phillip Meyer took second place with a time of 31:52.95.

Ethan Lunning finished second in the discus with a throw of 45.99 meters.

The 4x800 meter relay team of Paul Dau, JB Tut, Christian Folken, and Kevin Skrip rounded out the top performances of the day for the Oles, placing second with a time of 7:49.78.

St. Olaf goes into the final day of the MIACs with 26.5 points, tied with Bethel University for fourth place.
