MORRIS, Minn.-- The St. Olaf men's soccer team earned their fourth straight win to start the season in convincing fashion, putting four goals on the board in a 4-0 shutout of Minnesota Morris on Saturday afternoon in a non-conference contest.

The Oles were able to deal most of their damage during a three-goal first half, including a pair of tallies for sophomore Kevin Skrip, at 5:55 and 32:45. Skrip now has four goals on the season.

An own-goal by the Cougars at 19:22 rounded out the scoring in the first half, which ended with the Oles holding a 7-2 advantage in shots taken.

St. Olaf added one more goal in the second half when Ryan Johnsrud drilled one home from 20 yards out at 45:29.

It was a group effort on defense for the Oles, as Morris was limited to six shots taken and three shots on goal.

Ben Braman, Preben Bay and Ben Le Cam all saw action in the St. Olaf net to preserve the shutout, their third of the year. The Oles have only allowed one goal in the young campaign, and have surrended zero in their last two games.

The Oles look to improve to 5-0 on Sunday as they host Luther College at 3 p.m. at Rolf Mellby Field.
