St. Olaf women fifth at Minnesota's Roy Griak Invite

ST. PAUL, Minn. - The St. Olaf women's cross country team was fifth of 29 teams, led by Noelle Olson's runner up finish, in a 412-runner field at Minnesota's Roy Griak Invitational on Saturday.

Olson posted a time of 22:20, 16-plus seconds behind individual champion Chelsea Johnson of St. Scholastica. The Oles' Jorden Johnson was 10th (23:24) and Moriah Novacinski 27th (24:12) as St. Olaf was second of nine MIAC schools in the event.

St. Olaf will compete next at the UW-Eau Claire Blugold Invitational on Friday.
