ST. BONIFACIUS, Minn. - The St. Olaf volleyball team was able to snap their five match losing streak on Wednesday evening after defeating Crown College in a non-conference contest.

Facing a team that it had defeated 3-0 earlier in the season, St. Olaf was able to come out on top again thanks in large part to first-year middle blocker Sophie Schwartz. Schwartz was able to tally nine kills against zero errors, giving her a .500 hitting percentage for the match. Maggie Prunty and Kersten Bork were also major contributors, with Prunty nabbing 10 kills and Bork totaling 32 assists.

The Oles (8-19, 1-9 MIAC) will conclude their regular season schedule on Friday evening with a home match against Bethel University that will begin at 7 p.m.
